Marconi Lamp

The story of this lamp is quite simple. On an ordinary day, I visited the woodworking shop in our neighborhood to borrow a tool. Master Ebrahim was holding a piece of ash wood cut into a square beam, and from the moment I saw it, I was captivated by its beauty and simplicity. I asked, “What are you planning to do with this wood?” He replied, “I’m going to use it in a door I’m making.” I asked, “Can I have it?” He responded, “Sure, but what will you do with it?” I said, “I’ll let you know.” That same day, I made a lamp with it. When I modeled and placed the lampshade, it reminded me of a radio designed by Guglielmo Marconi, so I named it the Marconi Lamp. I gifted the first prototype to Master Ebrahim that evening.
