William Collection

A friend gifted me a pack of fabric with William Morris designs, and I wanted to create something special for his birthday. In my workshop, I found a piece of handmade Indian fabric and used it to make a small lampshade with a simple pinewood base. When my friend received his gift, he asked excitedly, “What’s the name of this collection?” I replied, “It doesn’t have a name; I made the first one for you.” He looked at the lamp and said, “Name it the William Collection.”

This collection features lamps with a simple form and structure, showcasing special and valuable fabrics. It’s dedicated to my dear friend, William Carry.
