Kar-Wai Collection

Finding a matching table for my table lamps was always a challenge. I decided to design a lamp that could be placed both on a table and on the floor. To achieve this, I needed to increase the height of the lampshade to prevent glare when placed on the floor. After creating the first prototype, I realized that the simple design could be adapted into a collection with three sizes, making it versatile for various spaces.

When I saw the curated color combinations of the lampshades, I was reminded of the film “In the Mood for Love” by Wong Kar-Wai, inspiring the name for this collection. The collection was crafted from oak wood and cotton fabric in three sizes and four colors.
